Dr Fatuma Manzi has worked at the Ifakara Health Institute since 2000 where she leads the health systems thematic group.
Dr Manzi has a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from Basel University at the Swiss Public Health Institute (2010).
She has worked on the evaluation of several health system projects since 2002, including the multi country evaluation of IMCI, evaluation of intermittent preventive treatment in infants (IPTi), improving new born survival in southern Tanzania, emollient evaluation study in Africa and expanded quality improvement using information power.
