Dr Benjamin Tsofa is a health systems and policy researcher at KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. He initially trained and worked as a clinical dentist, before moving into public primary health management and later health systems research.
His DrPH, from LSHTM, focuses on the effects of political decentralisation on health sector planning and budgeting.
In his current role, Dr Tsofa also works as a policy liaison manager between KEMRI-Wellcome Trust and the Ministry of Health in Kenya, where he provides technical assistance in health sector planning and the formulation of health policies at both the county and national level.file://localhost/Users/Becky/Downloads/Dr.%20Benjamin%20Tsofa,ADMIN.JPG
