Dr Hoang Thi Phuong, is the Vice Head of the Health Economics Department at the Health Strategy and Policy Institute (HSPI), Ministry of Health, Vietnam. She has a PhD in public health from the National Institute for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Vietnam.
Dr Phuong has more than 15 years working in the areas of health economics, health finance and health insurance. In addition to conducting research, she delivers short training courses on several topics including hospital financial management, hospital autonomy and provider payment methods.
